Plant Health Questions

This year is probably my BEST year ever growing Squash and Tomatoes.  These are both considered heavy feeders so I make sure I give them a regular dose of liquid feed every 3 weeks. HUGE Yellow Scallop Squash  I'm using Mountain Flower Compost Tea and Mountain Flower Nitrogen Boost Fish Food .  I use a 1 gallon packet but dilute into 2 gallons. One of the most common question I get from customers and followers is about plant health.  Here are signs that your plants need nutrients: Yellowing leaves Stunted plants Fruits start to form but die off Mottled leaf coloring Blossom End Rot is a frustrating one to deal with. Poor pollination is probably the hardest issue to overcome. If you find that your squash plant looks healthy overall but is not producing flowers, that can be a nutrient deficiency.  If your squash is producing squash but they're dying off right away, it could be a sign of poor pollination.  In this case, I highly recommend hand pollinating.
